I spoke to BT at length on the phone last week to cancel the account after a long fairly drawn out battle with Sky to get out of the payments even though I cancelled circa last November due to WWE going on Netflix in January this year.
However, despite their assurance the account would be cancelled as of this past Monday (7.4.25), I received an email this morning demanding payment for my account.
We're planning to visit the Bank next week to sort this and various other payment issues, but do I need to get stroppy with them? I've tried to remain calm on the phone with them despite their annoying lack of understanding of my issues, and it clearly hasn't solved the problem so logic dictates the only way to get them to leave me alone is to get angry.
Can anyone advise what to do?
I am aware of Google and this is a British problem.
